My baby is 2 days old and is passing brown and pasty stools? Is it normal?

On the first few days babies tend to pass blackish, brownish, greenish sticky stools called meconium. They generally pass it in the first 24 hours after the birth. Slowly over days the color of the stools change to yellowish brown and after 5th or 6th day of life they tend to pass yellow stools.
My baby is 7 days old and he is having loose stools? I have not given anything other than breast milk?
